1 1/2 C raisins
1 1/2 C dates, cut up
1/2 C candied cherries, chopped
2 C diced prunes
1 C pecans, chipped
1 C English walnuts
2 3/4 C flour
1 1/2 C margarine, softened
2 C firmly packed brown sugar
6 eggs
1 T baking powder
3 t allspice
1 15-1/4 oz can pineapple chunks, cut into smaller pieces

Directions:

Cut the dried fruit, raisins and nuts and mix with the 3/4 cup flour and set aside. Cream margarine and sugar: beat until fluffy and add eggs one at a time-beat well after each egg. Sift remaining 2 cups flour with adding baking powder and allspice. Add flour alternately with pineapple and juice, mixing well after each addition. Add fruit and nuts: mix well (note: batter will be heavy). Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans or bundt pan. Bake at 300º for 1 1/2 hours.Test with toothpick. If you use a bundt pan, you probably need to bake for 2 hours.
