1/4 cup butter
1 cup rice
1 small can drained, sliced mushrooms
1 can beef broth and enough water to make 2 cups in total
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute rice in butter until lightly browned, add beef broth/water, mushrooms and pepper. Cover pot and bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer and continue cooking for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is done.

Tip: Instead of the bacon, you may use Linguisa. Cut link length in fourths and chop. Saute in 2 Tablespoons water until water evaporates, drain on paper towel and add to rice when the tomato etc is added. At the beginning of the recipe, put small amount of oil in pan to saute onion etc.
