4 slices bacon, cut up
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic
1-1/2 cups rice
2 cups cooked tomatoes (broken into pieces
1 cup water
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Fry slowly in pan until crisp, add onions, green pepper and garlic and saute until tender. Add tomatoes, water, salt, paprika, and pepper and simmer gently for about 13 minutes. Add rice, cover and cook covered on low heat for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. If mixture gets loses it's moisture before it is completely cooked, add a little hot water and continue cooking to until rice is cooked.
