1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon orange juice
1/4 tsp grated orange rind
1 1/2 cup sifted cake flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugar, unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Ad grated orange rind and juice and mix well. Sift dry ingredients, add alternately with water. Beat only until smooth. Bake in 350 oven for 35 minutes for layers; 25 for cup cakes.
