1 package active dry yeast
3 TB. margerine
¼ cup lukewarm water (125-130 degrees)
3-1/2 cups flour (can use at least half wheat)
1 c. milk, scalded
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. plus 1 tsp. sugar
1 c. grated cheddar
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water and 1 tsp. sugar. Combine scalded milk, salt, sugar and margarine and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast, eggs and about half the flour to milk mixture. Stir till smooth. Add remaining flour and blend well. Pour into greased bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk. Stir in cheese and beat well. Divide dough evenly between two small, greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
