6 T butter
2 T flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c milk

Peel the unions. Cook, uncovered in boiling salted water25-30 minutes. Drain. In large saucepan, melt butter and then blend in flour and salt. Add milk all at once, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and bubbly
