Slowly saute until almost crisp..
1/2 cup chopped bacon
add and saute until tender...
1 medium chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery, including leaves
3 tablespoons chopped green pepper
add and simmer...
1 cup raw diced potatoes
2 cups water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 bay leaf
when potatoes are tender in about 45 minutes, combine until blended and add slowly to the above...
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup milk
1-1/2 cups hot milk
2 cups whole kernel corn
heat but do not boil. Serve it sprinkled with parsley.
