2 cups flour,
2 cups sugar,
2 teaspoons baking powder,
1 teaspoon baking soda,
2 teaspoons cinnamon,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
4 eggs,
1 cup oil,
2 cups mashed bananas or 1 (# 303-small can) of pumpkin,

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
4 oz. cream cheese,
3/4 stick butter or margarine,
2 tbsp. milk,
1 lb. powdered sugar or 3 cups,
1 tsp. vanilla,
Mix until creamy, spread over cooled bars.

Directions:

Mix all ingredients with mixer, then pour into 1 11x17 pan or 2 9x13 pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until brown on top and toothpick comes out clean.

This is a favorite recipe in my family started by my Mom, so it's just called Mom's banana bars :)
It tastes great with either bananas or pumpkin. Nuts can be added if desired.
