"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

1 box chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Mix together with a spoon, batter will be thick. Spread 1/2 or a little more into the bottom of a greased 9x12pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

While the above is baking: Melt 13 ounces caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in the microwave.
Spread (pour) the caramel mixture over the batter.
With a teaspoon drop the remaining batter over the top of the melted caramel. Spread milk chocolate morsels over the whole thing...as many as you like. I fill in all spaces. Never too many.
Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes. Cool for about 35 minutes and then refrigerate to set caramel. Enjoy!!!
