4 strips bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 large can tomatoes
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 Tablespoon curry powder
1 eight ounce can tomato sauce
2 cans kidney beans

Fry bacon until crisp. Saute onion, peppers, and ground meat in bacon fat until meat is browned. Add tomato sauce and spices. Cook covered for 1 hour, adding beans during the last 20 minutes.
