1/2 cup chopped nuts
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1 Box Buttery Cake Mix or yellow cake mix
1/2 bottle butter flavoring, 1 ounce size
3/4 cup butter Wesson oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, butter flavoring, oil, eggs, sugar, and sour cream. Pour half the batter into a greased tube pan. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top. Pour remaining batter. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Cool in pan 5 - 10 minutes.

If Mother were responsible for dessert at a dinner party or cook-out, she would often bring Sock-It-To-Me-Cake. The name is derived from the popular 1960's comedy show, Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
