5 cups flour
3/4 cup shortening
1 tsp baking soda
3 T sugar
3 tsp baking powder
2 cups buttermilk
1 pkg yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm water

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar and yeast to water, let rest.
Mix the rest of the dry ingredients and shortening until crumbly. Add buttermilk and yeast mixture to dry ingredients. Mix until all flour is moistened. Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet or roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut into circles. (May need to add more flour to do this)

Cook at 400º 10-12 minutes
