Ingredients:  
1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
1 package lime jello
1 half pint cottage cheese
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve jello in warmed crushed pineapple. Let cool, and then add remaining ingredients. Mix and chill.

Mother would serve Lime Jello Salad whenever she had any ladies over to the house; it was one of those "hen party" deserts. She even served it at Christmas on occasion. It was cut into squares and served on salad plates on a bed of crisp lettuce, and topped with a drop of mayonnaise. Gary Ledbetter
