6 eggs 2 slices bread 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. grated cheddar cheese 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. sausage
Brown sausage, drain thoroughly. Mix together beaten eggs, milk and salt. Stir in brokenup bread, and grated cheese and sausage, which has been sprinkled with dry mustard. Pour into greased baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º, uncovered, 45 minutes.
I have been making this recipe ever since Betty put it in our first Cooking with Harmony Cookbook. I double the recipe and take to Larry's on Saturday morning Reunion Weekend. It is one of my favorite recipes from the 1st cookbook.
