3/4 c butter
3/4 c vegetable oil
2 1/2 c brown sugar
4 T milk
1 T vanilla
2 eggs
4 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
12 oz chocolate chips
1 c pecans (optional)

In large bowl, mix sugar, butter, oil, milk, and vanilla. Add eggs. Mix in soda, salt and flour. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350. Allow to stay on cookie sheet 5 minutes before attempting to remove. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
