Stroganoff:
2 pounds lean beef, cut in strips, browned
1 cup minced onion
1 clove minced garlic or garlic salt
Salt and pepper
1 stick butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 small cans mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream

Consume Rice:
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 stick butter
2 cups white converted rice
3 cans Cambell's beef consume
1 small can mushroom stems & pieces, drained

Stroganoff:
Combine beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, butter, chicken soup, mushroom soup, mushrooms and water, and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add sour cream right before serving. Serve over consume rice.

Consume Rice:
Saute onion in 1/2 stick butter. Combine rice, onion, consume, and mushrooms in a greased baking dish. Bake covered at 350º for 45 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.

Beef Stroganoff was a tradition in the Ledbetter household. Sometimes Mother would sample it so much while cooking that she wasn't hungry when she sat down to dinner. Gary Ledbetter
