2 c. butter flavor crisco
1 1/3 T. granulated sugar
1 1/3 T. light brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 egg
4 c. and 4 T. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375©. Cream together shortening, sugars, vanilla, and egg. Sift flour, soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture; blend well. stir in chocolate chips. Drop from a teaspoon two inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minute, then remove to rack to finish cooling.
