3 tbsp. butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup evaporated milk (plain not the same as sweetened condensed)
2 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cup raw cranberries--halved

Butter Sauce
1 cup evaporated milk
2 cup sugar
1 cup butter

Directions:

Muffins
Cream sugar and butter. Add liquids. Mix dry ingredients then mix with wet ingredients. Stir in cranberries. Bake in muffin tins for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Butter Sauce
combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil for about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla. Serve warm over cranberry muffins.
