1 package lime jello dissolved in
1 cup boiling water, add
1 cup miniature marshmallows
stir until melted, then add
1 can crushed pineapple
1 cup miracle whip
1 ½ cup to 2 cups shredded cabbage

Directions:

Let stand until it starts to set, add 1 cup heavy cream whipped, and 1 cup chopped nuts. Store in refrigerator.

Mom served this with catfish. Dad alway sliced our catfish very thin and dipped it in egg and rolled in corn meal. Then it was deep fat fried. Mom alway had tartar sauce for the fish.
Also that President Eisenhower was a Kansas boy and quite popular so Mamie's recipe were looked forward too.
