3 cs. all - purpose flour
2 cs. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1/2 unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c. canola oil
2 tsps. vanilla
2 cs. shredded zucchini
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1 tbs. grated orange peel (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda , salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and baking powder.In another bowl , beat the eggs, applesauce, oil, orange peel and vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients just until moistened, Fold in zucchini. nuts and chocolate chips.Transfer to two greased loaf pans. Bake 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until a inserted toothpick comes out clean.Cool ten minutes and take out of pans.
