1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. white sugar
1 TB. cocoa powder
1/2 c. margarine
1 (12 oz) chocolate chips
2 eggs
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Let stand 10 minutes. Add sugars and margarine. Stir till margarine melts. Add eggs and mix well. Combine flour, soda, salt and cocoa. Add to oatmeal mixture and mix well. Add 1/2 chips. Pour into greased and floured 9X13" pan. Sprinkle with nuts and the rest of the chocolate chips. Bake @ 350º for 40 minutes.
