1 lb. Italian sausage
pinch of salt
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. cottage cheese
3 c. tomatoes
1 egg
1 can tomato sauce
3/4 lb, mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 box lasagna noodles (9)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook meat and drain off fat, add tomatoes, sauce, oregano and salt. Cook and drain lasagna. In a 9X13 pan, start with a little sauce, add 1 layer of noodles, 1/2 the shredded cheese, 1/2 the cottage cheese which has been beaten with one egg, 1/2 the tomato sauce, noodles, cheese, cottage cheese and end with sauce. Can save some shredded cheese for top. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake @ 375º for 30-40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting to allow the mixture to set.
