8 slices loaf bread for 4 servings
1/2 stick butter or margarine

For Batter:
3 eggs, beaten
pinch each of cinnamon and nutmeg
dash of vanilla extract

For Filling:
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients for batter in a bowl. Blend all ingredients for filling in a blender until smooth. Dip two pieces of bread in batter--one side each only. Place one piece of bread, batter side down, in buttered frying pan. Spread some filling on top of the bread. Take the other piece of bread and place unbattered side on top of filling. Saute until bread is crispy. Flip and cook other side of bread. Repeat for other three servings
