1 can wax beans, drained
1/2 c. oil
1 can green beans, drained
1/2 cup cider vinegar (I didn't have cider vinegar so I used reg. white vinegar)
1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. pepper
Dressing:

Mix 1st five ingredients in a bowl. Mix dressing ingredients together and mix well. Pour over bean mixture. Refrigerate overnight or make in the morning, stir occasionally.

This seems to be kind of an old-fashioned recipe but I had a taste for it so I found this recipe and made it the other day. It is the cheapest and easiest salad that you can make. I put some in Bob's lunch today and he actually called me just to tell me that this recipe was "a keeper" and that it was really good. First time that has ever happened (I think).
