Filling:
4 eggs, beaten
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ cups Karo syrup
3 Tablespoons butter,melted
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
2 ½ cups pecans, chopped fine (10-12 ounces)

Crust:
3 cups flour
1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
¾ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix crust and pat into a 15 ½ x 10 ½ inch pan with 1” sides. Bake at 350 until golden brown or about 20 minutes. Top with the pecan mixture and bake 25 minutes. Cool and then cut into 1 ½ inch squares and serve with whipped cream or iced cream. Great for pitch-ins or large get-togethers.
