2 Squares margarine 3 cups flour
2 cups sugar 2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs 1 cup milk
Grated rind of 2 lemons 1/2 cup sugar, dissolved
in juice of 2 lemons

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Add lemon rind. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 to 60 minutes. Turn from pans to cake rack. Drizzle with sigar mixture over loaves. Makes 2 loaves.
