1 1/2 lbs. boneless Sirloin Steak, about 1 1/2" thick
3 T. Sherry
2 T. Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1 clove Garlic, finely minced
3 T. Cooking Oil
7 oz. Snow Peas (Chinese pea pods)
1 c. Celery, sliced
1 c. Mushrooms, sliced
1 c. Green Onion, 1-inch slices
1 can Water Chestnuts, sliced & drained
2 Beef Bouillon cubes, crumbled
1 c. Water
2 T. Cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp. Salt

Partially freeze meat to make thin slicing easier. Cut diagonally. Combine sherry, soy sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic. Pour over meat. Refrigerate 1 hour. Heat oil, drain meat, but save marinade. Stir and fry meat over high heat 1 minute until gray in color. Add snow peas and marinade and cook 1 minute. Add celery, mushrooms, onions and water chestnuts; cook 2 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and cook until sauce is clear. Serve immediately with hot rice.
