1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups plain "M & M's"
Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening & sugars in large bowl. Beat in vanilla & eggs. Add dry ingredients. Stir in 1/2 cup of candies (reserve remaining for decorating). Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate tops with remaining M & M's. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375º, or until golden brown.
