1/3 c. green onion, thinly sliced
2 c. water
1 TB. butter
1/2 tsp. instant chicken boullion granuales
2/3 c. long grain brown rice
1/4 c. fresh grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, cook the green onions in marg. till tender. Add the uncooked rice. Cook and stir 2 more minutes. Carefully stir in water, bouillon, and a dash of pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes (do not lift the lid!) Remove from heat. Let stand, covered for 5 more minutes. (The rice should be tender but slightly firm and the mixture should be creamy) If necessary, stir in a little water to reach the desired consistency. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.

I like to serve rice with tacos or any Mexican food. I usually just use the boxed mixes, cause they are easier, but this one is really yummy and pretty easy!
