Salad:
1/2 c. sugar
2 heads Romaine lettuce
1/3 c. lemon juice
4 oz. shredded swiss cheese
2 tsp. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. raisins
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 apple (peeled, cored, diced)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pear (peeled, cored, diced)
2/3 c. oil
1 c. cashews
1 TB. poppy seeds

Directions:

Combine the salad ingredients in a lg. bowl. Shake dressing ingredients well and serve over salad.

I like to use an old peanut butter container to shake the dressing in, the kids can help shake too...no mess involved!
