1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flaked coconut (or more)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons sugar (raw is best)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional.
A little more coconut

Pre-heat oven to 350º.
Melt the butter over low heat, then remove. Add 2 cups sugar. Beat. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend. Add flour, cocoa, salt. Mix. Stir in coconut. Pour into a greased 9x13" pan. Sprinkle remaining ingredients over top. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into bars. Do not overcook! The coconut in this recipe makes them nice and moist.
