Added: Thursday, February 12, 2009

1 lb ground buffalo or ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 avocado, finely chopped
1 head lettuce
2 tomatoes
1 onion, diced
1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag Doritos chips, crushed
1 can olives, halved

Brown buffalo or beef, drain. Add in seasoning mix. Do not add the water pkg calls for. Thoroughly chill meat while preparing other ingredients.
Mix all ingredients except doritos in large bowl, add chilled meat, stir, add Doritos just before serving.
Original recipe calls for Catalina dressing, but our family likes sour cream and salsa, like a taco salad...enjoy
