2 packages Devil's Food Cake Mix
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and Crisco. Mix well. Roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls, and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely on a rack. For the frosting, combine the remaining ingredients. Dollop a heaping spoonful of frosting onto one cookie and place another cookie on top. Repeat with remaining cookies.

Our family likes to add food coloring to the frosting for different occasions...orange for halloween, red and green for Christmas, etc.
