5 cups Plain Flour, 1 1/2 Cup Sugar, 2 tlbs Baking Powder, 1 cup of margarine or shortening, 3 eggs,
1 tlbs vanilla. Preheat oven 350 F

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar & margarine, add eggs & vanilla, sift flour & baking powder, mix well. Roll dough in hand in small round balls, make round cookies or in an S shape. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the cookies.
FROSTING
Beat 2 eggs whites, add 1/2 box conf. sugar or more as needed & the juice of one lemon. If too thick add 1 tsp of water at the time until the right thickness. Divide in three bowls & add food color desired. Put several cookies in at a time and cover well and lay on wax paper until dry. It takes several hours for cookies to dry. Store in sealed container.
