Ingredients:

1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 pkg dry mushroom gravy mix
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 cup water
2 med sliced onions
2 med spliced potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º

Remove all of the fat from the brisket. Place meat in a 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle the onion and gravy mixes over the meat. Add the wine and water. Top with sliced onion. Cover with foil and bake approx 4 hours or until meat is tender.

Remove pan from oven and move brisket to a serving plate to cool. Put potatoes in the juice that remains in the baking pan. Add a little water if necessary and return to oven until potatoes are done. When potatoes are done, place them and the juices into a blender and mix until you have a smooth gravy.

When the beef is cooled, slice and put back in pan with gravy. Heat and serve.
