8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 Head romaine lettuce, shredded
1/2 lb. Turkey breast cubed (3/4")
1 Ripe avocado, pitted, peeled and cubed
4 oz. Chevre (or any crumbly cheese) crumbled
2 Hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 Pint cherry tomatoes, halved
Any dressing--homemade vinaigrette, ranch, caesar, etc.


Directions:

On a large, shallow, rectangular or oval platter, arrange ingredients as follows:

One line of lettuce (mixed with cherry tomatoes) on each end
One line of turkey on each end just inside the lettuce
One line each of bacon, avocado, cheese, and hard boiled eggs in any order

Serve with dressing on the side.

This is a beautiful salad--great for family only or entertaining. Keeping the ingredients separate (and serving dressing on the side) means that your kids will enjoy it too, as they will take only what they like!
