1 cup ( 2 sticks ) butter, softened
1 cup oil
3 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
6 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar

3 T. granulated sugar
1 T. ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter, oil, sugar and eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients while stirring. Put covered bowl in fridge for an hour. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together on a small plate. Break off a bit of the cold dough and roll into a ball. Roll the ball around in the cinnamon sugar and put on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
