Minestrone Soup Recipe

4 slices bacon cut in 1/2" pieces - can use pre-cooked bacon
3 Tbsp. oil
1 onion chopped
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 16oz. can tomatoes (save juice)
2 stalks celery cut bite-size
2 sliced carrots - can use canned carrots
1/2 cup green beans -2" long - can use canned beans
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
1 tsp dry sweet basil
1 can Bean with Bacon Soup
1 can Kidney Beans
1 can Beef Broth
1/2 can water

Fry bacon - add onions and garlic - saute until golden brown. Add ingredients up to basil; simmer 15-20 min. Add soup, kidney beans, broth and water; simmer 20 minutes
