2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing:
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter
nuts, toasted and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and set aside the 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups flour. Combine and let boil, the 2 sticks butter, 1 cup water, and the 5 tbsp. cocoa. When mixture comes to a boil pour it over the first mixture then add the buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan and bake at 350º until done, about 25 to 30 minutes. For icing bring cocoa, milk and butter to a boil. Take off heat. Add 1 box of powdered sugar (which is about 3 3/4 c.) and chopped nuts. Place on cake while still warm.
