1 c shortening (lard)
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c whole milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
flour for soft dough

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together first, then add in the rest and mix well. Add enough flour to make the dough soft before dropping into waffle iron. Brush irons with shortening before cooking waffles.
