3/4 cup butter
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sifted all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 cup Ghirardelli Chocolate
1 cup warm mashed potatoes
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients with flour adding alternately the milk, then chocolate, then potatoes, and last the nuts. Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour at 325
