Dough:

2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 T. butter
3/4 c. milk



Filling:

3 T. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. currants or raisins


Mixture in pan:

4 T. butter
4 T. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt, sift again. Cut in butter; add milk gradually until soft dough is formed. Turn out immediately on lightly floured board and knead thirty seconds, or enough to shape. Roll to 1/4" thick. Cream together butter, sugar and cinnamon; spread on dough, and sprinkle with fruit. Roll as for jelly roll. Cut in 1" slices. Melt 4 T. butter in 8x8" pan, add 4 T. brown sugar and mix well. Place rolls in pan, cut side down. Bake at 425º 15 min.; then 350º 15 min. Remove from pan at once. Makes 10-12 rolls.
