3/4 lbs lean beef cubed
3/4 lbs pork cubed
2 T lard

1 onion finely chopped
2 cloves crushed garlic

1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 T chili powder
1/2 cup water
2 tsp cocoa
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin
1/4 cup catsup
1/2 can Ortega chilies

Refried beans
Grated Jack Cheese
Flour Tortillas

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in the lard. Move meat to a cooking pot.

Saute onion and garlic for 5 minutes in pan where meat was browned. Add to meat and add remaining ingredients, except for beans, cheese and tortillas. Cover and simmer for 2-1/2 hours or until meat is tender.

Spread flour tortilla with heated beans, meat sauce and cheese - close ends and roll.
