4 cups hot tap water
8 hot dried chili peppers

1 lb lean beef cubed
1 lb lean pork cubed
2 T oil
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 small can chopped Ortega chilies
salt

refried beans
grated cheese
Burrito size flour tortillas

Directions:
Directions:
Stem and seed dried chilies. Wash and tear into pieces. Put into a blender and soak in hot tap water until water is cold.

While chilies are soaking, you can brown meats in a skillet. Move meats to a large cooking pot.

In a skillet, saute onion and garlic. Add to meat pot. Add tomato sauce and Ortega chilies.

Blend chilies in the blender for about 1 minute. Pour into cooking pot. Cover and simmer about 2-1/2 hours or until sauce cooks down and thickens.

Spread a flour tortilla with refried beans, meat sauce and cheese. Roll and close ends.
