1 cup water
2 sticks oleo(butter)
Bring to a boil
Mix by hand together the following ingredient and pour into a 9 x 9 baking pan.
2 cups sugar
1 cups flour
4 teaspoons cocoa
1/4 teaspoon soda
1teaspoon salt
Directions:

Pour water and butter over dry ingredients and mix.
Add 2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup butter milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
Frosting:
1 stick butter
1 cup pecans
1 box powder sugar
6 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons cocoa
Spread on hot cake
