2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 egg yolks (save whites)
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, egg yolks and a little bit of milk to get smooth consistency and remainder of milk.

Heat over stove until thick - be careful not to burn. Stirring continuously will help.

Meringue::
Mix 2 egg whites and 2 tbsp. sugar. Beat until stiff. (This will take a long time...be patient)

Place vanilla wafers on bottom of 9x9 pan or a round dish, place thick layer of sliced bananas, pour half of pudding mixture. Repeat layers ending with pudding. Spread meringue and brown for 10-15 minutes
