6 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped green olives
2 T. green olive juice
Dash of pepper
NO salt

Directions:
Directions:
Just mash 6 oz. of softened cream cheese with a fork; then add mayonnaise. Blend well. Stir in pecans, olives, olive juice and pepper. Mix well.

The filling will be slightly mushy, but after it is refrigerated for a few hours it will be firmer and of spreading consistency. Spread on favorite bread, add lettuce leaf, and enjoy. Spread also keeps well in the fridge for a week or two. By the way, this recipe comes from Heloise and was in the Indy Star many years ago.
