2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour 1/2 c buttermilk
2 tsps baking soda 2 tsps vanilla
1/2 tsp salt 1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup butter
2 1/2 c brown sugar
3 eggs
3-1oz squares unsweetened choc.

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, measure and sift again with soda and salt. Cream butter in bowl until fluffy, then add sugar a little at a time, until fluffy and light. Add unbeaten eggs, 1 at a time. Beat until fluffy. Add melted choc to batter. Add flour and milk alternately. Now mix in vanilla and boiling water. Batter will be very thin. Pour in greased pans and bake 25-30 min at 350º F..
