1- 8oz. cream cheese
1 c. shredded Montery Jack cheese
6 strips bacon fried crisp (opt.)
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 lb. jalepeno peppers (about 20)

Directions:
Directions:
Wearing rubber gloves, cut peppers in half and take out seeds and ribs. Mix cream cheese, bacon, chili powder, cheeses and salt. Spoon mixture into cleaned peppers and roll in bread crumbs. Put on greased jelly roll pan and bake @ 300º for: 20 minutes for spicy; 30 minutes for medium;or 40 minutes for mild.

These are so much better than the ones you get in the freezer section of the store. One time when I made them I did not read recipe properly and mixed the bread crumbs in with filling ingredients, and actually that worked just fine too!
