3-3/12 lbs pot roast
1 tsp. salt
1large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced finely
3 tablespoons oil
1 cup thick sour cream
1 cup water
4 or 5 oz. noodles

Directions:
Directions:
In a dutch oven or other heavy pot, lightly brown onion and garlic in hot oil. Push to one side of pan. Rub meat with salt and pepper and brown well. Combine sour cream with water and pour over meat, top with browned onions, cover and place in 325º oven for 2-1/2 or until tender. Remove roast from pan and make gravy with drippings, adding to it the sour cream and onion mixture fom the top of the roast. Season with salt and pepper and paprika to taste. Cook noodles according to pkg. directions and serve noodles and meat with gravy.
